Her passion lies in making a positive impact by helping others steer through life’s challenges. Harjot is deeply empathetic and provides a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients. She operates from a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens by acknowledging and respecting the unique background of each person. Being bicultural, she understands the challenges that can arise in navigating life from different perspectives. Harjot believes that many of the answers you seek are within yourself and together you can work on uncovering them.

In helping children, teens, and parents navigate personal growth and mental health challenges, she employs various therapeutic modalities to address unique needs, some of which include: child-centered play therapy, sand tray therapy, eye movement and desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices. She believes in being a life-long learner and continues to attend workshops and seminars to hone her skills. In her spare time, Harjot enjoys taking a stroll along the beach with her children and husband while indulging in a cup of chai. She enjoys cooking and writing poetry whenever she has some downtime.
