Christina Norberg

Counsellor & Art Therapist
In Surrey, BC

Currently Awaiting RCC Designation

Christina has been working with clients at Love This Therapy since September 2023. She is in the final stage of completing her Masters of Counselling Psychology, specializing in Art Therapy. Art therapy can be a powerful tool for healing and transformation, especially when integrated with psychotherapy. Christina earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and has been a professional artist for the past 17 years. Themes found in her artwork are the nature of consciousness, mind/body/spirit connection, as well as connection with the earth and all its life forms.
Christina’s goal as a therapist is to hold a warm, and non-judgmental space for you, while using evidence-based practices to collaboratively identify and process what has been preventing you from experiencing the life you desire. Sessions can involve talk therapy, art therapy, or a combination of the two, depending on what feels right for you. One of the unique aspects of art therapy is that it is largely non-verbal and an incredible amount of healing can occur on a deep level without having to use words. No artistic experience is necessary for this to happen.
