Gary works collaboratively with his clients to process their thoughts, feelings and needs while also empowering them with tools that fit their learning style and life situation. He skillfully guides his clients to gain new insights and to embody those insights into meaningful change. 

  

Areas of Focus 

Gary specializes in helping couples, families and individuals 16 years and older. He can provide counselling in both Punjabi and English. 

To accommodate your busy schedule, Gary offers days and evenings for in-person and virtual counselling appointments at Love This Therapy, located in Windsor Square. 

Gary is skilled at supporting clients untangle themselves from anxiety, stress, depression, anger, grief, low self-esteem, interpersonal conflict, life transitions, autism, ADHD, addiction and trauma. He also helps couples address issues regarding communication, parenting, affairs and premarital counselling. 

Gary utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities to offer a holistic approach to healing. Some of these modalities include: Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP), Existential Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness-Based practices. He uses these modalities to help clients understand how their earlier experiences have influenced their patterns and to access the feelings underneath our defensive reactions in order to consciously direct the process of change. Gary has advanced training in Somatic Therapy, which helps clients with symptoms of posttraumatic stress to release the stored trauma trapped in the body.
