Natalie Connors

M.Ed.

Licensed (Registered) Psychologist

“Our greatest gift is not what we do but who we are.” — Henri Nouwen

Natalie’s approach to psychoeducational assessment is grounded in the belief that assessment should provide meaningful clinical insight while maintaining a holistic and strengths-based understanding of the individual. She aims to integrate standardized assessment data with developmental history, contextual factors, and clinical observation to develop a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of each person’s cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioural profile. Rather than reducing individuals to scores or diagnoses, Natalie strives to provide families with clear direction, language for both strengths and areas requiring support, and practical, evidence-informed recommendations that support functioning across home, school, and community settings. Ultimately, her goal is to ensure that the assessment process leaves families with greater understanding, increased confidence, and actionable strategies that promote both individual and family flourishing.

Experience:

Natalie is a Licensed Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). She graduated with her Master’s degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from UBC and has since worked in both public and private settings within BC and Alberta offering psychoeducational assessments, ADHD assessments, counseling, and play therapy. She is currently completing her training to complete Autism assessments.

Outside of the office, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, usually exploring the outdoors, relaxing by the beach, or trying out new coffee spots.

Having played soccer at a high level for many years, she enjoys staying active and getting a little competitive occasionally… although running “just for fun” is something she’s still working on.

She loves to learn, and while she is continually working to carve out more time for reading, you’ll more likely find her listening to a good podcast or audiobook.
