Stephanie Daniels, RCC
Supporting Children (2+), Teens, Adults, Parents, LGBTQ+, and First Responders
I enjoy creating the kind of transformative therapeutic spaces that allow you, your child, or your teen to feel heard with compassion and understanding.
Together, we’ll make sense of the experiences shaping your life and uncover healthier, more adaptive ways of being—whether that involves enhancing emotional regulation, navigating early childhood patterns, or finding renewed clarity as you move forward.
I draw from a range of modalities—including and not limited to EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Individual Counselling—to provide specialized care for trauma, including complex & sexual trauma (CVAP clients welcome), as well as mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, PTSD, parenting difficulties, stress and burnout.
I specialize in: Helping children (2+ years) through play-informed and attachment- based therapies, supporting teens and young adults coping with self-esteem struggles, relationship issues and suicidal ideation, and guiding adults (parents included) toward greater resilience and healthier interpersonal relationships. I’m also dedicated to supporting First Responders (EMS, RCMP) by offering trauma therapies and resilience -enhancing modalities that address workplace critical incidents and the unique pressures of service roles.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked as a Child and Youth Care Worker in an elementary school, sparking my passion for helping children, teens, and families.
Outside of counselling, you’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors—mountain climbing, river kayaking, or skiing—or immersed in a good fiction novel.
I welcome ongoing conversations about your goals and comfort, ensuring therapy remains a collaborative and empowering process. Benefits are accepted, and parent coaching is available!
Wherever you or your loved ones may be on life’s path, I’m here to walk alongside you with support, wisdom, and understanding.
